Maharani Punam Sahi BEd. College has been established by the parent trust DERF (CT) and is under process of recognition by the NCTE. The Chairperson, Her Highness Maharani Sahiba Smt. Punam Sahi, has put every single drop of her effort into the making of an institution an ideal one. Running under the expert direction and leadership of His Highness Maharaja Bahadur Mrigendra Pratap Sahi, the instituion receives, with earnest gratefulness, bountiful benefactions from the ancient royal family of Bihar, the Hathwa Raj family.
The classrooms of Maharani Punam Sahi B.ed College at Hathwa are very well-ventilated, spacious and fully equipped with the latest facilities and apparatuses.
Very often regarded as the pride of North Bihar, the school at Hathwa is well connected by train and road to other parts of India. It is just 20 kilometers away from the East & West corridor which passes through the district headquarters at Gopalganj, and is a half-an-hour drive from Siwan Junction railway station on Chapra-Gorakhpur section of the East-Central Railway. We, at Diksha Educational Research Foundation Charitable Trust, strive to assist the
needy ones in every possible way; as a result, we award scholarships and suggest
other means for the advancement of the talented individuals who are financially not
robust and belong to the weaker sections of the society. Furthermore, we provide
medical assistance to handicapped or otherwise incapable people and financially aid
the poor if needed. We even aim to establish, provide, maintain, and conduct or
otherwise subsidize research laboratories and experimental workshops for scientific
and technical researches and tests as well as promotion of studies in such fields.
